Emerald Equipment Systems is the new distributor for New York state for Cedarapids products.

Cedarapids is said to be one one of the market leaders in the aggregates processing industry.

The new partnership will better enable Emerald Equipment Systems to expand and reach new markets in need of modular, portable and static mobile crushing and screening equipment.

Through the partnership, Emerald Equipment Systems will offer the Cedarapids’ line of crushing and screening products within its new equipment and rental fleets.

“We are very pleased to enter this new relationship with Cedarapids. They have a very strong legacy and reputation in the aggregates industry, based on more than a 90 years of expertise,” says Mike Tormey, president of Emerald Equipment Systems.

“We already have a strong name in the market place. Over the last 20 years Emerald has become the largest supplier of crushing and screening equipment and parts in the north-east.

“Our main office is situated on a 75 acre [30.35 hectares] site with over 110,000 square feet [10,200m²] dedicated to parts, service and custom manufacturing along with a ten-acre site [4 hectares] dedicated to the demonstrating and testing of equipment.

“With a large focus on parts and service Emerald’s aftermarket departments have developed into a one-stop shop for all wear and spare parts requirements.

“On site facilities allow for custom manufacturing of rubber belting, screen media and wear liners.”

David Quail, business line director for the Americas and Australia, says: “We are delighted to have Emerald Equipment Systems represent us in the New York state for our Cedarapids brand.

“Emerald Equipment Systems has an excellent reputation in this market, and a strong commitment to technical product support, service and parts. Together with Cedarapids products and services, it will be a winning combination for our customers.”
