EPC-UK is offering its 'Roles and Responsibilities of Sentries' course as an online 'Lifelong Learning Live' webinar at 10am on Thursday, 30th July.

The two-hour ‘bite size’ special course will cover everything you need to know about controlling the danger zone around a blast in a surface mine or quarry.

From the practicalities of preventing people from entering the danger area to legal obligations and requirements, this comprehensive course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn more about the role and duties of a sentry.

As with the other courses in EPC-UK’s ‘Lifelong Learning Live’ portfolio, this interactive session will be delivered ‘virtually’ by a knowledgeable member of EPC-UK’s explosives engineers’ team and will cater for up to 40 attendees. The course will also be recorded to allow students to access content for up to 30 days after the ‘live’ session, helping them to tailor their learning around work and family commitments.

This special ‘bite-size’ course costs just £150.00 and can be booked and paid for quickly, easily, and securely on the EPC-UK website by using Pay Pal.

“Our ‘Lifelong Learning Live’ programme has gone from strength to strength since its launch last month and we are delighted that we can now add our Role and Responsibilities of Sentries course to the webinar series,” said Ben Williams, managing director of EPC-UK.

“We hope that this bite-size course will provide attendees with not only valuable knowledge, expertise and insight into the role of a sentry but also a taste of what an EPC-UK webinar involves and the flexibility it can offer,” added Williams.

Further information about the ‘Roles and Responsibilities of a Sentry’ course and EPC-UK’s wider ‘Lifelong Learning Live’ webinar programme, as well as details on how to reserve your place, can be found on the company’s webinars training page.
