Epiroc AB and SANY Group will form a strategic partnership to collaborate across selected areas, including mining, infrastructure, and associated sectors.
The agreement is expected to result in an enhanced product portfolio with the potential combination of Epiroc’s hydraulic breakers and other attachments and SANY’s excavators and wheeled loaders. Further to this, the two companies will focus on electrification opportunities, leveraging Epiroc’s electrified equipment, charging solutions, and global service capabilities alongside SANY’s extended expertise in electric microgrids and green energy.
“SANY’s innovations in electrification, equipment, and smart manufacturing are truly impressive,” Epiroc president of the tools and attachments business area José Manuel Sánchez said.

SANY group director Lihua Tang said the partnership would support new energy construction machinery and smart manufacturing in important industrial sectors.
“This strategic partnership represents a major step forward in our globalisation strategy and will accelerate the transformation of the global mining industry towards low-carbon and intelligent operations,” Tang said.
