Epiroc is introducing an extended warranty program that strengthens long‑term equipment reliability for customers operating in demanding rock excavation, demolition and construction environments.

The extended warranty is exclusively available for attachments fitted with HATCON, Epiroc’s digital module enabling real‑time monitoring of operating data.

Beginning January 2026 retroactively, selected excavator attachments equipped with HATCON will be delivered with an extended warranty covering 36 months or a defined number of operating hours – up to 3,000 hours depending on product range, whichever occurs first. The warranty applies to: Epiroc Combi Cutters, Concrete Busters, Bulk and Demolition Pulverizers and Hydraulic Compactors. It further includes all transverse drum cutters and V Cutters manufactured by Epiroc and Erkat – Powered by Epiroc, provided they are equipped with HATCON.

Epiroc says HATCON enables full transparency into actual operating hours, load and utilization patterns and required service intervals to just name a few. Epiroc InSite acts as an integrated digital support platform, offering continuous insight into attachment performance. The system assists operators and fleet managers with maintenance planning, early issue detection, and improved cost predictability. Together, HATCON and InSite create a data-driven foundation for granting longer warranty periods.

Epiroc adds that its hydraulic attachments are engineered for longevity, with materials, geometry, and manufacturing precision selected to withstand the mechanical stress of continuous heavy-duty use. The decision to offer a warranty of up to 36 months – or the defined operating hour limits – reflects the company’s continued confidence in its products’ durability and field performance.

“This extended warranty reflects our confidence in the engineering quality of our hydraulic attachments,” says Predrag Petrovic, Epiroc vice president hydraulic attachment tools. “By combining robust design with transparent, data-driven service planning through HATCON, we offer customers what they consistently prioritize: reliability, predictability, and peace of mind.”
