EQIOM has expanded its presence in the French construction materials market after finalising its acquisition of Béton Torres.
Since it was established in 1976, Béton Torres has built a strong customer base for its ready-mix concrete products. The concrete producer has been integrated into EQIOM’s operational network.
“BETON TORRES is a solid company, recognized for the quality of its products and its local expertise,” EQIOM head of the west West Île-de-France Agency Patrick Mazanero said.
EQIOM, a CRH company, will expand its network west of Paris via the deal with an increased operational capacity to serve the market around the Yvelines area.
When the details of the acquisition were first announced, Manzanero described Béton Torres as a “major asset” for EQIOM.
“This acquisition is not just a step in our development; it is the expression of our commitment to the Île-de-France market,” he said.
“By joining forces, we will not only be able to meet the growing need for construction materials in the region, but also better support local businesses and craftsmen in their projects.”
