Ethiopia is planning a series of road projects as part of its Growth & Transformation Plan. These road projects are worth close to US$128 million in total, with the plans being managed by the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA). Local contractor Yemene Girmay will handle the $21 million project to rebuild the 38.5km road connecting Worhabe with Bojober. Another local contractor, Powercon Construction, will handle the $42.6 million work to rebuild the 43.2km road linking Dabat with Agire. And local contractor Melkon will rebuild a 7.4km road in Dire Dawa.
