Finlay has appointed Warner Bau-und Industriemaschinen (WBI) as an authorised distributor partner in northern and western Germany.

Established in 1992, WBI is an integral part of the Warner Group, specialising in supplying and supporting construction machinery sales and rental.

With immediate effect, WBI will sell and support the full range of Finlay crushing, screening and conveying equipment, including parts, service and technical support. WBI have a wealth of construction industry experience and has been distributing Liebherr construction machinery since 1992.

Moreover, they already have experience in the materials processing business and operate from eleven outlets strategically located across the region. WBI are highly respected for the exceptional customer service and unrivalled aftersales support that they provide for customers when they really need it.

Maik Warner (MBA), chief executive officer, said: “We are very proud to represent Finlay and promote their entire range to our customers. The flexibility and breadth of the range are globally renowned – the products they engineer have been proven in the toughest of applications – only premium products such as Finlay crushers, screeners and conveyors can make a difference to operators in a variety of severe environments and job sites they operate in. Their machines already have an enviable track record and have been marketed in Germany for over six decades. The addition of the Finlay product line complements our existing product offering, and we have exciting plans to increase our hire division to satisfy the growing demand for short- and long-term rentals.” said Maik Warner, CEO.

“We are a highly respected and experienced distributor partner. Our sales teams already have industry-specific knowledge and are experienced in advising customers on the best solutions for their applications and projects. Our business model is focused on supporting the needs of the customer. There is already a large population of Finlay machines operating across the territory, and we look forward to servicing and supporting these customers. The Finlay team are known for their ‘family approach’, and we look forward to working alongside them to grow market share in the territory.” said Rolf Lieben, sales manager.

“We are delighted to partner with such an experienced and respected distributor. Maik and the entire WBI team share our values of providing exceptional customer experience and world-class aftermarket support. They are very well positioned and located to support customers across the region. For our customers, this is a win-win position, and they will be in the hands of experts who truly understand and can help them maximise the productivity of their job sites. WBI has demonstrated their commitment to the partnership by investing heavily in personnel, support systems and aftermarket structures,” said Helmut Domes, regional sales manager.
