Danish cement machinery and mining equipment supplier FLSmidth posted a turnover of DKK 14.71billion (?1.98billion) in the first three quarters of 2011, which was an increase of 0.3% on Q1-3 2010. EBIT decreased by 11% to DKK 1.301billion (?174.8million), and EBIT margin went down from 9.9% to 8.8%.

Profit after tax amounted to DKK 870million (€117million) in Q1-3 2011 compared with DKK 949million (€127.5million) in the same period in 2010.
FLSmidth’s guidance for consolidated revenue in 2011 is now specified at DKK 21.5-22billion (€2.9-2.96billion).
The group’s CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen says the company is constantly on the lookout for take-over candidates.
