The Global Cement and Concrete (GCCA) will hold its global annual conference in Singapore on Thursday 10 October 2019.

The morning of the event will focus on innovations in cement and concrete and will be opened by Lars Sudmann, widely recognised for his TEDx talk “The Spaghetti Principle of Innovation.” The morning panel sessions on cement and concrete innovation will each bring together a range of expertise from academics, suppliers and practitioners on the innovations that will be central to the future of the industry.

The high-level afternoon plenary will explore the future of cities and the role of concrete, and will be led by smart cities expert Ayesha Khanna. She will be joined by prominent Indian architect Dr Anupama Kundoo, Simon Gusah, chief resilience officer for Lagos in Nigeria and Professor Erwin Viray, head of the architecture sustainable design pillar, Singapore University of Technology & Design. They will explore themes around the future of cities and the role of concrete.

The GCCA says attendees will have the chance to learn about key innovations and trends that impact on the cement and concrete industry at a global and regional level, engage with renowned global experts, network with industry CEOs and senior leaders, and learn more about the GCCA’s priorities and work programme

Full details and information on how to register for the event, which takes place at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre, can be found at:
