Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, has appointed Castle Douglas-based James Gordon Ltd (Gordons), as the company’s authorised dealer for the whole of Scotland.
Based in Dumfries and Galloway, Gordons was already the authorised dealer for the Develon range in the South West and Borders regions, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, the Lothian Counties, Argyle and Bute, Isle of Mull, Stirling, Falkirk, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire in Scotland and for the county of Cumbria in Northern England. Now with the new appointment, the territory that Gordons is responsible for has been expanded to include Aberdeenshire, Angus, Fife, Highlands and Inverness-shire, Moray, Orkney, Perth & Kinross, Shetland & the Outer Hebrides and Skye.
Gordons was established in 1865 and is a premier agricultural and construction equipment distributor in Scotland. With six strategically placed depots, the company is committed to providing a fast and efficient local service for machinery, attachments and – most importantly – the best possible aftersales support.
