HeidelbergCement has increased its share in logistics company Kerpen & Kerpen to 100%, paying €23.5 million in the form of 416,477 new shares that were issued as part of a capital increase in return for contributions in kind. In 1999, HeidelbergCement acquired 30% of the company, entering into a management contract in 2003 that reached the end of its minimum term at the end of 2013. Kerpen & Kerpen owns and operates a fleet of 100 silo trucks and is active in the trading and transport of cement, flyash, and other powdery goods in Germany, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, and Austria.
