HeidelbergCement's managing and supervisory boards have increased the German building materials group's dividend for the 2021 financial year.
At the group’s annual general meeting (AGM), the boards will propose to distribute a dividend of €2.40 per share for the 2021 financial year. This corresponds to an increase of 9% compared with the previous year’s premium of €2.20 per share. Based on the HeidelbergCement share price on 31 December 2021, the dividend yield is 4%. The payout ratio – concerning the group’s share of adjusted profit – is 30 %.
The group is thus continuing its progressive dividend policy. The dividend is subject to the shareholders’ approval at the AGM, being held on 12 May 2022.
