Former Georgian Prime Minister, Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, said at the opening ceremony that the new separator allows for the type of cement that did not exist anywhere in Georgia until now.
Praising the quality of the German equipment, he said that another such separator is planned in Poti.
The company’s sales and marketing director, Irakli Makharoblidze, says that HeidelbergCement owns several factories in Georgia, which ensures the availability of any quality of cement across the country.
“Our company keeps pace with the modern world achievements and is ready for any order and demand,” he said.
Makharoblidze said that HeidelbergCement’s board of directors, along with the German government, will soon announce the future strategy on planned investment projects in Georgia.
