Hillhouse Quarry Group has confirmed a series of appointments and promotions as it strengthens its commercial team.
The Scotland-based quarry business has promoted Mark Anderson to the role of commercial manager (east), with more than two decades of industry experience. Colin Hume has joined Hillhouse Quarry Group as senior sales representative, covering east and west Scotland, after previously working with Master Builders Solutions. Hume has extensive experience in the concrete sector, including detailed knowledge of mix design and admixtures.
“These changes are focused on strengthening the way we support our customers. By combining experienced operational leadership with dedicated commercial expertise, we are improving communication, responsiveness and certainty across all stages of a project,” Hillhouse Quarry Group managing director Mark Munro said.

The independent quarry business has also made two additional changes. Jamie Munro will be in charge of the ready-mix concrete and block production operations in the east. While covering the west, John Steel has been promoted to general manager of the precast concrete division. He has more than four decades of experience in the business, with extensive technical and manufacturing expertise, especially in precast solutions.
Munro said these appointments would support the company in delivering consistency across its technical capabilities and operational performance.
“Our aim is to make it easier for customers to work with Hillhouse Group, while maintaining the quality, reliability and technical standards they expect from us,” Munro said.
