Lafarge BFC Serbia has confirmed that it has officially rebranded to Holcim Serbia, introducing a new name and branding to mark the start of a new era.
Lafarge BFC Serbia has operated since 2015 as part of the Holcim Group. The name change brings the Serbian subsidiary into line with the wider Holcim Group, which has been gradually phasing in a consistent brand identity.
“This is a historic moment in which tradition, almost two centuries long, and the strength of the global Holcim family to which we already belong, are now officially united through a unique identity,” Holcim Serbia chief executive officer Dimitrije Knjeginjić said.
“The name change completes the company’s corporate profile and represents an even more decisive step towards a future that is more sustainable, responsible and innovative.”
The company operates a vast network of facilities across the country. Its cement factory in Beocin supplies cement to key infrastructure projects throughout the country. Its concrete factories in Belgrade, Novi Sad and the surrounding area, supplies a wide range of projects.
“With a new name, but the same values, Holcim Serbia continues to develop a business based on expertise, combining experience and cutting-edge technologies to create solutions aligned with the highest global standards of the construction industry, with continuous investment in people and the community,” the company said in its release.
