Hitachi dealers in northern and central Europe have revealed their key insights into the region’s excavator market.

From technology to adaptability, Probst Maveg and Delvator, two trusted Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) dealers, discuss the latest features and trends customers want to see in their equipment for 2025.

Advanced technology in construction machinery

Probst Maveg said the importance of advanced technology and environmental considerations in today’s market. Its sales team highlights the increased demand for features such as electrical pilot control, 3D system pre-installation, and weighing systems. These features ensure machines can be efficiently integrated into a variety of applications. The equipment’s reliability and dealer choice are also crucial for Swiss buyers. It can mean securing a good price-to-performance ratio and innovations like multiple hydraulic circuits that enhance versatility.

An emphasis on safety features

Delvator, a key player in Sweden, said that hydraulics and responsiveness are trending in the market. Performance and operator comfort also play significant roles in purchasing decisions.

As the industry continues to evolve, Delvator has observed a greater emphasis on safety features, such as bucket locks, and higher environmental standards. The shift towards more environmentally friendly solutions aligns with a broader trend across Europe, where ecological considerations are becoming more prevalent in the construction industry.

Adapting to meet demands

Delvator and Probst Maveg agreed that excavators that combine advanced technology, reliability, and environmental responsibility are sought after in both markets. As these markets continue to evolve, dealers like Probst Maveg and Delvator are adapting to meet customer demands, ensuring they supply equipment that is not only powerful and efficient but also aligned with modern standards of safety and sustainability.
