Hyundai Construction Equipment has appointed Staffare as its equipment dealer for the Swedish market.

Staffare has completed three sales of wheeled excavators since the partnership was formalised earlier this year on April 1. Throughout 2025, Staffare will be showing Hyundai’s range of products at its 11 locations in Sweden.

“Historically, our contracting division has focused on machines up to 12 tonnes,” Staffare sales manager Thomas Svederus said.

“We have long sought a partner offering an extensive excavator range, and Hyundai fulfils this requirement with distinction.”

The Hyundai range includes hydraulic excavators ranging from 0.8 to 100 tonnes, wheeled loaders and articulated dump trucks. Staffare’s locations in Northern Sweden will help expand Hyundai’s market presence. Hyundai’s equipment in Sweden has previously been focused on in Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Former importers EMS and Stig Machine will continue servicing existing Hyundai equipment through to December 2025. Following this time, Staffare will be responsible for all Hyundai machines in Sweden. This includes aftermarket services and spare-parts logistics.

As part of this service, Staffare will hire Hyundai-dedicated sales personnel to service customers in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

“Hyundai is a globally respected brand with a robust product pipeline,” Svederus said.

“We are honoured to represent Hyundai in Sweden and are eager to advance our shared vision for the Swedish construction industry.”
