Hyundai Construction Equipment India (HCEIPL) launched its 210-7v excavator at bC India 2013.

The company, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, says the R210-7v is equipped with mechatronics for optimised fuel consumption and productivity while offering low operating costs in the 20-22tonne class excavators.

“The seamless matching of workloads with power requirement saves up to 7-10% fuel per hour and ensures enhanced earnings per dig. The machine is attractively priced in the Indian CE market and is expected to generate an enthusiastic response from the end users,” says HCEIP.

Hyundai Construction Equipment also showcased its “technologically advanced” R210-9 excavator during the exhibition in line with its plan of migration to 9 Series products. Both excavators are claimed to offer 7-10% fuel savings with 8-14% improved productivity.

“As per our study of the market, the 20-22tonne class of excavators captures about 50% of the total pie of the Indian market.

Hence through the launch of the R210-7v and R210-9, we aim to provide a wider range to our customers in this segment,” says Dheeraj Panda, head marketing and key account management.

“Last year we touched the mark of 2,400 machines across various segments with a growth rate of 23-24%.”

HCEIPL is headquartered in Pune, where it has as state-ofthe- art manufacturing facility and has four regional offices at Delhi, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
