In Poland CTL Logistics has signed an agreement under which its cooperation with Mota Engil Central Europe will be expanded by developing a plan to revitalise a railway siding at the Gorka mine in Gorka Sobocka, which eventually will be managed by CTL.

The siding is currently out of use, and this is said to force the company to transport the goods via road on an 8km section.

CTL Logistics has been cooperating with Mota Engil Central Europe since May 2013, and it is estimated that the cooperation will generate a PLN 10mn (€2.4 million) turnover in 2014.

CTL plans to transport over 300,000tonnes of road aggregates for Mota Engil in 2014 and to purchase some 150,000tonnes of break-stone, which will be used for railway infrastructure construction and modernisation.
