The Pre-Intermat gala dinner and 6th edition of the INTERMAT Innovation Awards ceremony held at the Maison de la Mutualité on 22 January 2015 marked the official start of the three month build-up period to Intermat, this year’s biggest international construction equipment exhibition, being held 20-25 April 2015 in Paris-North Villepinte.
Wacker Neuson won the Construction Equipment award for its Mini excavator 803 dual power; Liebherr France’s Lift crane operator was victorious in the Equipment & Components award; winner of the Engineering & Systems award was Merlo for its M TSS Merlo Transversal Stability System. Meanwhile, the Digital Applications award went to Atlog for LAND2MAP; MS won the Environment award for its water treatment plant for the elimination of Chromium VI and Total Chromium; Tekla won the World of Concrete Europe award for its TEKLA Structures Construction Modelling; and the Judges’ Special award went to K-Form, the concrete formwork system manufacturer from Bridgend, Wales.
Organisers of the INTERMAT Innovation Awards said the prized accolades indicated global diversity in the global construction equipment and construction materials’ markets.
Hundreds of construction equipment media journalists from all over the world attended the Pre-Intermat event to discover details of the new and existing equipment and technology that will be on show at Intermat this spring.
