Italian cement producer Italcementi's CEO Carlo Pesenti said that the company is particularly interested in growth opportunities in the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Talking to the Il Corriere della Sera newspaper in Italy, Pesenti also said that the firm had seen large structural changes during the global economic crisis. He said that after the takeover of Ciment Francais, Italcementi is “ready and reactive” when looking at market opportunities.
