John Deere Power Systems has a new partnership with Power Equipment Pty. Ltd. headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.

A company with branches also in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and New Zealand, Power Equipment will be the official distributor of John Deere Power Systems engines for all markets, including industrial, agricultural, marine, mining, power generation and engine spare parts. The new partnership means that John Deere customers will not only be serviced by Power Equipment in Australia and New Zealand, but also in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Island, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands and French Polynesia.

“We’re pleased to expand our distributor footprint in the South Pacific with the addition of Power Equipment, which will improve our geographical coverage in the region,” said Jean- Michel Grimault, account manager for Asia-Pacific at John Deere Power Systems. “John Deere is committed to its customers around the globe, and we believe this new partnership with Power Equipment will strengthen that commitment. With Power Equipment’s strategic locations throughout the South Pacific, John Deere will be able to better support its customers in that region.”

Power Equipment is a well-established, family-owned specialist engine company with around 70 employees. The company distributes approximately 6,000 marine and industrial diesel engines each year, making it the largest engine distributor by volume in the region.

Historically a distributor of premium, complimentary engine products, adding John Deere to its product line-up completes Power Equipment’s range. Working with distributors like Power Equipment that offer customers comprehensive solutions and fully supported service strengthens the worldwide John Deere network.
