Giovanni Bartoli is Keestrack's new sales manager for Africa & the Middle East.

Drawing on 15 years of experience within the international construction equipment industry, Bartoli will initially focus on establishing reliable and sustainable relations with the Belgium-headquartered crushing and screening plant maker’s new dealers.

Currently based at Keestrack’s Italian office, Bartoli’s career has largely focused on business development, mainly in the earthmoving and concrete equipment markets. He has travelled extensively in Southeast Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East, the Indian Sub-continent and Oceania during his varied global roles.

“Keestrack has already established some good dealerships in Africa and the Middle East, but there is still a lot of ground to cover,” said Bartoli. “At first, Keestrack wants to target the North-West Africa markets, South Africa and Middle East countries like Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates & Qatar. We’re looking to expand our dealer network with A-rated, reliable and organised international and local dealers working as our importers and distributors.

“Besides growing the market in these regions, Keestrack will keep growing its product range, while supporting its dealers with the right service and training is a challenge for me in these markets.” Bartoli says Keestrack will also support its dealers with a good financial plan, offering floorplans to keep machines in stock locally.

West African quarrying and construction customers are, says Bartoli, looking for highly mobile crushing and screening products that are user friendly and easy to maintain.

In the Middle East, Keestrack is looking to win business from big quarrying and construction players involved in asphalt and concrete production. Bartoli believes they will be very interested in Keestrack’s green, full electric e-range plants. “More and more Middle East countries will transition from a crude oil economy to a green economy, and Keestrack is well set for this with the e-drive (electric) and ZERO drive equipment,” he explains.

Keestrack was one of the first global crushing and screening plant manufacturers to offer electrically-powered solutions. The company recently introduced a range of tracked engine/generator units capable of supplying connected Keestrack e-drive crushers, screeners and stackers with electricity if there is no plugin connection from the grid available.

Keestrack also offers its ZERO range, mobile crushers, and screens sold without an engine unit. They can be powered by the grid or via any external generator, whether this is a tracked engine unit, a Keestrack e-driven crusher with an onboard gen-set and plug out connection or just any generator on site.

“Either way, Keestrack has a full package to convince all customers with the most economical equipment in its range,” summarises Bartoli. “Whether they are still depending on diesel-hydraulic technology or going full electric, Keestrack can provide the best solutions.”
