Komatsu will use this year's bauma construction and quarrying equipment event in Munich to highlight its solutions that can help move the sectors towards carbon neutrality.

The company says its 4.550 m² stand in hall C6 at bauma (October 24-30) will present a mix of 27 machines. It will premiere brand-new electric machines at the event as well as recognised products and services that improve total jobsite efficiency and create value for its customers.

Komatsu adds that effective digitalisation is often another essential request from its customers, and this is also a focus for the company itself.

The manufacturer will showcase its SmartConstruction/Earthbrain solutions at bauma, which are designed to show a new way of working, with unique solutions to support and improve businesses.

The Komtrax Next Generation and Komtrax Data Analytics booths will demonstrate how Komatsu’s wireless monitoring system can simplify decision-making for those who work to deploy equipment effectively or to improve fuel efficiency, to maximise productivity or to plan periodic maintenance.

Komatsu’s Virtual Stand will provide a first look at upcoming innovations for its wheeled loaders.

Outside the main stand, the job site area (2.800 m²) will feature a full line of 15 Komatsu machines working in a live show to demonstrate the company’s dedication to intelligent and environmental-friendly technologies.

The company comments: “In addition to our main business, we believe it is the responsibility of a business to engage in social contribution activities in the local communities where we conduct business. Our goal is to make the most of the know-how we’ve developed in our main business and engage in ways that contribute to the greater social good.”
