Chinese construction equipment manufacturer, LiuGong Machinery Corporation, will launch a four-month service tour for European key accounts and customers starting on 28 February.

This is the first time LiuGong has planned an after sale service tour in the market.

The LiuGong Cares Tour will cross all of Europe, covering eight primary countries, which include Poland, Turkey, Hungary, Israel, Azerbaijan, Serbia and Germany.

Over 60 people, including management, engineers and staff from LiuGong Europe; members of LiuGong’s spare parts, service, and product departments, and local LiuGong dealers will be part of the team.

Mr. Luo Guobing, general manager of Overseas Division; Mr. Deng Tao, general manager of LiuGong Europe and Mr. Xiao Yuanxiang, deputy general manager of LiuGong Europe will join the team as well.

During the tour, the LiuGong team will visit more than 70 key accounts and customers and perform routine maintenance on some 200 LiuGong machines.

“The European construction machinery market is considered to be one of the toughest in the industry because of its high quality demands and strict manufacturing standards. Although a relative newcomer to the market, LiuGong has seen its market share and sales increase considerably over the past several years,” says the company.

Established in 2010, LiuGong Europe is located in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In 2011, its sales revenue increased more than 169% than the year previous.

In addition to the tour, LiuGong is consolidating its operations in the Netherlands and will officially open its new parts depot and warehouse in April.

And, with LiuGong’s acquisition of HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola) Dressta in January 2012, the company gained a manufacturing base in central Europe, “helping signify LiuGong’s commitment to the European market.”
