Eugene Lyons has assumed the role of vice president sales and marketing, mobile crushers and screens at Sandvik Construction, enabling him to utilise his extensive industry expertise and experience on a global basis.
Eugene Lyons has assumed the role of vice president sales and marketing, mobile crushers and screens at Sandvik Construction, enabling him to utilise his extensive industry expertise and experience on a global basis.
Although based at Sandvik’s Swadlincote centre of operations in the UK, the role of vice president will see Eugene Lyons assume full responsibility for the sales and marketing of the all Sandvik mobile crushing and screening equipment on a global basis.
He said: “I am greatly excited by the opportunities and challenges we will face, and I know we (mobile crushers and screens) possess not only world-leading products, but the people and systems to support our endeavours on a world-wide basis.”
Sandvik says it has “new and exciting times ahead” including the launch of a number of products this year. These include the QJ331 jaw crusher; QE341 scalper and QS331, QS440 cone crushers as well as further developing its cone crusher portfolio with the introduction of the hanging screen option for the QH331 and QH440 models later in the year.
Sandvik works closely with distributors and sells its products through a well-established global distributor network which it will be looking to expand over the next 3-5 years to increase its coverage into key markets.
