Magna Tyres’ general manager for Middle East & Africa

Magna Tyres Group has appointed Vijay Nambiar as general manager at the new Magna Tyres Middle East & Africa office. He has over 30 years of experience within the tyre industry and has worked for various renowned tyre companies, including Michelin and Bridgestone, and is a trained techno commercial expert with experience in total tyre management based on the operation to achieve maximum benefits out of client investments. His last job was with U.C.G.T, a successful trading company in the Middle East,

Magna Tyres Group has appointed Vijay Nambiar as general manager at the new Magna Tyres Middle East & Africa office.

He has over 30 years of experience within the tyre industry and has worked for various renowned tyre companies, including Michelin and Bridgestone, and is a trained techno commercial expert with experience in total tyre management based on the operation to achieve maximum benefits out of client investments.

His last job was with U.C.G.T, a successful trading company in the Middle East, which he built from scratch over the last six years.

As head operations of the new Magna Tyres Middle East & Africa regional office, he aims to further enhance the customer relationships and satisfaction within this high potential region.

“I am very excited to start this new Magna Tyres office which will provide great benefits to all customers in the region with complete local support in building Magna Tyres brand image at par with any other known premium brands,” says Nambiar.

Michael de Ruijter, CEO of the Magna Tyres Group, says: “We are very proud that Vijay has seized the opportunity to start with this new office and he will play an important role in enhancing the Magna Tyres image in the region, and the further expansion of the company.”
