The Son Amat limestone quarry on the Spanish island of Mallorca has a long history and is deeply rooted in the region. In the quarry, exceptionally high safety, transport route and production machine standards are observed.
Son Amat needed a different material extraction solution due to the geographical location of the Balearic Islands and the problems associated with drilling and blasting in quarries.
