McCloskey International has appointed Shanghai Shibang Machinery (SBM) as its new China distributor. SBM will look to increase the crushing and screening giant’s presence in the Asian country’s huge quarrying and construction markets; having recently acquired its first McCloskey machine, an S190 Triple Deck Screener.
Founded in 1987, Shanghai-headquartered SBM is a leading crushing equipment manufacturer in China, with nearly 1,300 employees located in around 16 countries.
“McCloskey has a very good reputation in the industry,” said SBM’s vice general Manager, Libo Fang. “The products are very competitive both in quality and price, and can be a complementary product for SBM. Our ambition is to drive the industry development by delivering reliable and sustainable products and services in mining, aggregates and grinding industries. Our customers’ needs derive from certain global trends – urbanisation and the growing demand for minerals. These are what drive us.”
In the past 30 years, SBM has been devoted to producing mining equipment, aggregates equipment and industrial grinding mills. With the company’s claimed advantages of high efficiency and low maintenance cost, its products are widely used in the mining and construction industry, both home and abroad.
The formal announcement of the new McCloskey distributor relationship will take place on SBM’s stand, E6.410, at bauma China in Shanghai on 23 November 2016.
