McLanahan Corporation’s location in Warabrook, New South Wales, Australia, has received certification in the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System for the design and manufacture of materials handling equipment, including spares and after sales service for the mineral, agricultural and resource industries.

The official registration audit was completed by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited out of Melbourne, Victoria.

The company says the success of the registration evaluation was ultimately the result of McLanahan employees and their commitment to producing a quality product and customer satisfaction.

“As we continue our ISO certification journey, we are extremely proud of our employees’ dedication to achieving this high standard of quality,” says George Sidney, president and COO of McLanahan Corporation.

“Having a quality management system in place not only improves our process internally, but it also proves to our customers that we are dedicated to providing them with the highest quality products and services.”

ISO 9001:2008 is a process-based certification recognizing organisations that can link business objectives with operating effectiveness. To receive this certification, McLanahan demonstrated effective implementation of documentation and records management; top management commitment to customers; establishment of clear policies; good planning and implementation; excellent resource management; and efficient process control, measurement and analysis. McLanahan has also established continual improvement efforts.
