Metso’s Nordberg HPe series continues to set the standards in both aggregates production and high-demand mining applications.
The company has released several updates to the Nordberg HPe series throughout 2025 including the HP600e, HP800e and HP900e. The new units contain the trusted features of the HPe series while extending the range to cater for larger capacities. HP600e and HP900e are an evolution of the existing range, built and based on class-leading, proven technology. HP800e is a new addition to the series with a crushing size option of 600 kw/800 hp.
Nordberg HP600e, HP800e and HP900e units offer:
- high performance with up to 15 per cent more capacity* and 35 per cent greater crushing force*, thanks to enhanced kinematics and higher power installation,
- new optimised crushing chambers, head spinning reduction, and ring bouncing detection to reach optimum capacity and maximum wear life,
- complete drive and sub-frame for safe and faster installation while reducing dynamic load by up to 70 per cent,
- a new feed cone lifting tool, allowing for safer maintenance when changing wear parts.
- * compared to equivalent cone crushers in the same class.
“The evolution of Metso’s cone crusher technology brings multiple benefits and presents a true step change in terms of performance, uptime, serviceability and application coverage.
