Miller Scoops new orders at Plantworx Show

Cramlington, north-east England-based Miller Groundbreaking won orders of the value of £200,000 (€237,000) after attending the inaugural UK plant exhibition Plantworx 2013 at Stoneleigh Park, County Warwickshire, England. The Plantworx show is the UK's new biennial event for the construction industry, and attracting in excess of 10,000 visitors and with over 100,000m² of live construction equipment, it will features construction applications and working machinery.

Cramlington, north-east England-based Miller Groundbreaking won orders of the value of £200,000 (€237,000) after attending the inaugural UK plant exhibition Plantworx 2013 at Stoneleigh Park, County Warwickshire, England.

The Plantworx show is the UK’s new biennial event for the construction industry, and attracting in excess of 10,000 visitors and with over 100,000m² of live construction equipment, it will features construction applications and working machinery.

Miller Groundbreaking has its main manufacturing in Cramlington and also supplies the latest in coupler technology from its joint venture casting facility in northern China. From both sites Miller manufactures a range of buckets, quick couplers and other attachments for the earthmoving industries as well as providing a custom-built service which offers specialised and one-off products, which are tailor-made to suit specific applications, machines and environments.

Customers include the world’s leading OEMs such as Caterpillar, Volvo, JCB, CNH, Komatsu, Hitachi and their dealer networks, as well as an established independent global distributor network and numerous end-user customers worldwide.

Celebrating 35 years of business Keith Miller, chairman and founder of Miller was delighted to attend Plantworx and to win business success at the show.
