The group has also implemented a new signature, Constructing Better Towns, and has carried out studies on 1,000 individual homebuilders to identify their needs.
Having established greater clarity and product advice as the main issues, the company has now announced a new range of bagged cement and gypsum products for these builders.
Self-construction represents two-thirds of homes in Morocco. Lafarge, which is also set to launch its first building systems development laboratory in Bouskoura by the end of 2014, is looking to either maintain its market share or to see a one point rise for the year.
