“When Nanset Standard was named in 1929, Nanset was chosen because it was the place where Søren Røed started the company as a fuel station and Standard referred to the fuel product,” explained Nasta managing director Tom Johansen. “The new name will modernise the company for a competitive market. The company has gone through many changes since 1929 – during the last fi ve years we have concentrated on the import, sale and service of construction machinery.”
