Organisers say the postponement is due to a sudden and severe outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the Chinese capital and the need to implement relevant pandemic prevention and control measures.
The 16th staging of BICES had been scheduled to take place 17-20 November 2021 at Beijing's China International Exhibition Center. All the events and activities to be held simultaneously with BICES 2021 have also been postponed.
A new date for the exhibition has yet to be announced by the organisers. The BICES exhibition was being organised jointly by the China Construction Machinery Association, China Construction Machinery Co, and China Council for the Promotion of the International Trade – Machinery Sub-Council.
