CDE, a leading global market manufacturer of wet processing equipment, has revealed that its hugely successful global virtual conference will return in 2021. The event will bring industry leaders together to share their experience and expertise on a range of materials processing topics.

Following the virtual event in October 2020, which featured 100+ industry professionals speaking at 90 sessions over two days, the 2021 symposium will extend to cover three days.

Running from 18th-20th May, the virtual event will examine the challenges most operators face on a day-to-day basis, on transforming materials and processes, unlocking hidden value, commercial opportunities and diversification, and optimising efficiencies and maximising returns. CDE experts, together with a host of guests and industry figures, will facilitate thought-provoking virtual seminars across the three days, sharing expert insights for various markets, educational and dynamic live presentations and panel discussions, as well as a series of informative project case studies.

Hosted live, the discussions will once again be facilitated across multiple different virtual seminar rooms, each aligned to international time zones and with a number of dedicated language seminars to enhance accessibility. The event will focus on the Australasia Market on 18th May, The Middle East and Africa markets, and the wider European Market on 19th May, and the Americas Market on 20th May.

During breaks between each session, networking chat rooms will provide attendees with ample opportunities to discuss the learnings and insights and create connections with industry-leading experts.

Exploring sustainability and the circular economy, a panel discussion will address opportunities for unlocking value in C&D waste in Middle East and Africa. Typical contamination levels in the region and appropriate processing technologies will be examined, and CDE’s global project portfolio, including those with national and international product certifications for re-use in premium construction applications, will be reviewed.

The programme will host two sessions focusing on the natural processing sector. The silica sand market outlook will be deliberated, including factors to consider when determining project feasibility. In this session, the panel will discuss methods for maximising silica sand market potential and the specialist processes required to meet specification.

The second will examine how quarry owners can maximise value from every ounce of material as the panel explore the transformation of unused waste streams into valuable sand and aggregates. The panel will explain the material analysis process and how to determine the volume of commercially viable material from your waste.

Marc Jennings, chief executive officer at CDE, said: “As we adapt and change to life in this new world, we will continue to share our expertise and learn from leading industry professionals to create our best world a ton at a time. We are excited to announce our hugely successful virtual symposium will return for 2021 as a way to learn together, wherever in the world we are.

“Extending to three days, our virtual conference will host live seminars in multiple languages, carefully curated to facilitate different time zones so we can engage in real-time with customers, peers and industry leaders to address issues of the day, innovative technological advances and of course opportunities as we emerge from the current global crisis.”

Registration is free, but places will be limited for some roundtable and seminar sessions. For more information about the event or to register, please visit - cdeglobal.com/vevent
