The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has promoted Jo Anne Cowan to a new role as the organisation’s vice president for meetings and membership.
Cowan joined the NSSGA in 2023 and has been credited with improving the experience of the organisation’s vast membership base. In her new role, Cowan will lead the NSSGA’s annual events, meetings and membership engagement.
The experienced executive brings more than two decades to her new role, including prior work at the US Chamber of Commerce as a senior manager.
“This is an exciting time at NSSGA, as we fill out our staff leadership. We are thrilled to have Jo Anne lead NSSGA’s meetings and membership team. She has proven to be a collaborative leader in putting together high-quality events,” NSSGA chief executive officer and president Michele Stanley said.
