The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) joined fellow construction industry stakeholders at the 2025 Celebration of Construction held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., from May 14–16. The three-day event showcased the leading construction equipment manufacturers, technology innovators, and workforce development organisations, demonstrating how the industry is building a stronger, safer, and more sustainable America.

“NSSGA is proud to represent the aggregates industry and participate in this event. It’s critical that our elected officials see first-hand the impact our members have in their states and districts,” said NSSGA Interim CEO Michele Stanley. “Having the construction industry come together, just a few blocks from the Capitol, provides the perfect venue to highlight our industry’s top policy issues, such as Highway Trust Fund solvency and tax reform provisions.”

The landmark event aimed to educate policymakers, media, stakeholders and visitors to the area about the construction industry’s vital role in the U.S. economy. Attendance for the show was free and open to the public. Each day, members of Congress, administration officials and their staff were given guided tours through the booths. Industry experts were present to answer questions about safety, worker health and environmental stewardship.

More than 30 industry leaders participated and featured interactive displays, equipment demonstrations and educational exhibits. NSSGA staffed a booth promoting the industry, and many of our M&S members participated, showing their own equipment.
