Bristol-based B&A Group is hosting two open days in November to showcase its recycling operations, including its new wash plant, said to be the largest in the UK.

The two sessions are being held at the company’s head office in Hallen and will include site tours, as well as the opportunity to see the new wash plant in action. Visitors will also be able to see product samples and learn more about the recycled sand and aggregate materials the plant can produce.

The first open day is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 November (9am-5pm), in conjunction with CDE, the manufacturer of the new wash plant. The second is on Thursday, 27 November (10am-3pm). Recycling experts will be on hand to answer questions on both days, and refreshments will be served.

Helen Griffin, Managing Director at B&A Group, said: “Opening our doors is a great opportunity to showcase our new wash plant, which is capable of processing up to 400,000 tonnes of excavated waste (primarily soils) a year from construction, demolition and industrial sites.

“It is also a chance to highlight how the resulting products can help meet increasing demand for more sustainable construction products through the supply of high-quality recycled aggregates.”

Those interested in attending should visit: Avonmouth Wash Plant Open Day | Reserve your spot | B&A Group or Open Day For 180tph C&D Waste Recycling Plant – CDE Events | CDE. Attendees are asked to supply their own PPE equipment (safety helmet, high-visibility vest and safety boots), the wearing of which is mandatory.

B&A Group is a leading construction soil and aggregate recycling company and became part of the Heidelberg Materials UK family in May 2024, joining its recycling business line.
