Terex Finlay has appointed Patrick (PJ) O'Donnell to the new role of Terex Finlay business development manager.

O’Donnell has 13 years’ experience in the global crushing and screening industry. For the past two years, he was on secondment to Terex Malaysia, where he made a significant contribution to developing distribution and sales of Terex MP business lines across South-East Asia. Before that, he was a regional sales manager for Terex Finlay covering the UK and several European and Scandinavian territories for four years.

In his new role, O’Donnell will be responsible for further developing the Terex Finlay market presence in several regions across Africa, Russia, Middle East, and Asia, focusing on new business development. In addition, he will also assist current dealers in the regions to further develop their markets and inhouse expertise to serve customers better.

Neil McIlwaine, business development director, said: “I am delighted to welcome PJ’ home’ to the Finlay brand. He will bring fresh expertise, machine and application knowledge and has the necessary experience to find and onboard new dealers and develop current dealers in a diligent and professional manner. We already have a solid foundation with our distribution footprint, and PJ’s appointment shows our commitment to further develop our international dealer network.”

On rejoining Terex Finlay, O’Donnell said: “I am thrilled to be back working alongside the committed and resourceful Finlay team. My previous experience of the business and our products made a lasting impression on me, and I watched with a keen interest in the rapid progress the team have made in recent years. I look forward to the challenge of taking the brand into new markets and building upon the foundations that already exist with our current dealers.”
