The Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP) will continue its Proficiency Testing programme as part of efforts to maintain the quality of cement used by the local construction industry. Under the programme, supported by the Bureau of Product Standards, operations of private cement testing laboratories are to be audited by the association to ensure that testing methods and equipment meet requirements set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
