The company appointed Voltas as its first Indian distributor in 2001, and the same year the first Powerscreen plant was sold in September.
According to Powerscreen, since then Voltas has helped it gain the largest market share of tracked crushing and screening equipment in the Indian market.
As the demand for Powerscreen products continued, the company recruited additional distributors in the country. In 2009, Alpha Technical Services was appointed along with Vijay Traders. In 2011, the distribution network further expanded with the appointment of two distributors, Progressive and Lathangi.
