Russia’s concrete production falls 15.6%

According to the Russian State Statistics Service, the country's enterprises produced over 25.19 million m³ of concrete in 2015, down 15.6% from 2014. The Central Federal District was the leader with 9.30 million m³ (-16.6%); the Volga FD was the second (3.68 million m³, -24%), and the Southern FD was the third (over 3.5 million m³, +10.4%). As much as 3.06 million m³ of concrete was produced in the North-Western FD (-24.2%), 2.62 million m³ in the Siberian FD (-7.7%); 1.29 million m³ in the Urals (-32.2%); over 1.15 million m³ in the Far East (-12.4%), and 742,000 m³ in North Caucasus (-20%).
