Sandvik, which took the opportunity at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2014 to showcase new members of its product ranges and display core elements of its total solutions package, says that the exhibition proved to be a great success for Sandvik Construction.

Satu Ramo, global marketing communications manager, Sandvik Construction explains: “Conexpo-Con/Agg 2014 is an important exhibition, both for the global construction industry, and for Sandvik Construction specifically. We wanted affirm our customer orientation through introducing new products aimed at providing practical and productive solutions. At the same time we wished to emphasise such core Sandvik Construction areas of expertise as aftermarket care, construction excellence and global coverage.

“This was the first time Sandvik Construction attended Conexpo-Con/Agg as a separate part of Sandvik. We are very pleased to report that visitors from all over the world came to see the Sandvik Construction offering at first hand, and view the new products which were launched at the show.”

Products launched or displayed for the first time included  the new CH540 stationary cone crusher based on the proven HYDROCONE design and the new DC125R hydraulic, self-propelled drilling machine on a four-wheel drive carrier along with Sandvik Construction’s extensive range of rock tools including the latest range in the RH series of down-the-hole hammers and mobile crushers and screens and the new QS441 secondary cone crusher, the larger of the two new S-type gyratory cone crushers, which is able to accept larger feed sizes and achieve high production capacities. The new model is fitted with the Sandvik CS440 cone crusher.
