Compagnia Generale Trattori (CGT) is Sandvik Construction’s new distributor for mobile crushers and screens as well as surface drilling throughout Italy.

CGT will supply a comprehensive range of Sandvik equipment and provide full aftermarket care, spare parts and dedicated customer service related to the two product lines.

Sandvik says the appointment further reinforces commitment to enhanced locally-focused customer support, while enabling customers to benefit from dealing with a global company.

CGT, a Caterpillar dealer since 1934, has representation throughout Italy, with 28 direct branches, providing integrated sales, rental and servicing solutions in both the energy and earth moving fields.

CGT, part of the Tesa Group, is also the Caterpillar dealer for the Balkans and Malta, focusing on the construction, energy and logistic markets.

“We are delighted to work with such a trusted distributor. Its industry expertise, and local customer knowledge, combined with strong aftermarket support, will enable us to get closer to our customers,” says Norbert Lentschig, sales manager for Sandvik Mobiles in Southern Europe.

Kauko Juuri, global distributor manager Sandvik Construction, says: “We are sure that the combination of Sandvik equipment and global aftermarket support, together with the local knowledge and industry expertise of CGT, will enable Sandvik customers throughout the area to benefit from a winning combination.”
