Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens has expanded its partnership with its UK distributor to unlock greater aftermarket support across the mainland UK.

Sandvik and Retec Equipment have invested together to bring a locally held stockholding of key spare and wear parts in the UK, which will reduce the requirement to ship these parts from Northern Ireland.

The move means Retex Equipment can provide same-day dispatch on selected items, significantly reducing lead times and enhancing availability for customers across the region.

“This is an important development for our customers. By holding stock locally within mainland UK, Retec can respond much faster to urgent requirements and ensure parts are available when they are needed most,” Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens aftermarket sales manager for Europe Balazs Dianovszky said.

“Our focus is always on keeping our customers’ equipment running, and this investment is another step forward in delivering that level of support.”

Retec Equipment has continued to build its aftermarket capability since expanding its partnership with Sandvik, investing in infrastructure, stockholding, and expertise to better serve the UK market.

This latest initiative further strengthens Retec’s ability to provide reliable, high-quality aftermarket support, ensuring customers benefit from improved service levels and reduced operational disruption.

The use of genuine Sandvik spare parts plays a critical role in ensuring reliability, safety, and optimal plant performance. Designed and tested specifically for Sandvik equipment, these components help maintain machine integrity, maximise uptime, and protect long-term performance. By combining local stock availability with genuine parts, customers can be confident they are not only receiving faster service but also the highest-quality components engineered to keep their operations running efficiently.
