ConExpo/Con-Agg has announced that Volvo Construction Equipment’s head of the North American region, Scott Young, will serve as chair of the 2029 iteration of the trade show.
As chair of ConExpo-Con/Agg 2029, Young will play a key role in building on the success of the 2026 edition, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I’m honoured to work with AEM in this role as our industry undergoes a historic transformation,” Young said.
“ConExpo-Con/Agg is one of the world’s largest platforms to showcase innovations that help our customers navigate change, overcome challenges, and improve performance. We’ll build on this year’s success and look ahead to 2029.”
Young is an experienced industry executive. He has served in his current role with Volvo Construction Equipment since 2023 and has more than 25 years of industry experience altogether.
ConExpo-Con/Agg show director Dana Wuesthoff said they were excited to appoint someone of Young’s experience and calibre.
“The 2026 show set new benchmarks for innovation, engagement, and industry collaboration,” she said.
