Swiss cement company Holcim has reached a pre-agreement with trade unions in Spain to reduce by 13.4% to 122 employees the number of redundancies originally estimated by the company. The business restructuring plan put forward by Holcim in February involved closing down 21 of the 42 working branches it operates in Spain. These figures include three production plants and a grounding plant.
