Tanzania Portland Cement Company (TPCC) achieved a 3% year-on-year net profit rise in 2015 to TZS 56.2 billion (US$ 25.76 million). TPCC's profit grew thanks to a very encouraging 22% increase in sales. Moving forward, demand for cement in Tanzania and the East African region as a whole is expected to rise, as reported in a recent addition of Aggregates Business International.
