Telestack has been awarded a contract for the supply of a modified HF 24T heavy-duty hopper feeder with onboard genset to one of the world’s largest iron ore producers.
The supplied unit will feed existing ship loaders while working in conjunction with a previously supplied HF 24T. It will be fed by high-capacity wheeled loaders such as CAT 988s and Volvo 350s.
This contract, with a repeat customer, is said to emphasise Telestack’s prominence in the mobile bulk material handling solution sector and highlights the Omagh, Northern Ireland-headquartered business’s ability to design and manufacture these innovative products to meet specific customer requirements.
The HF 24T heavy-duty hopper feeder has proved popular in mines and ports worldwide for its ability to work at high production rates with large wheeled loaders in applications such as reclaiming to a stacker reclaimer conveyor line or feeding rail wagons, barges, and ships.
